I'm a twenty-something that sets her first steps in the world of media and communication. I already did an internship at Studio Brussel, but aside from my passion for music, beauty and fashion are also a big love of mine, so I'm starting another internship at Turbulence in Ghent!

Hi!! My name is Annelien and I'm blogging as Fashion & Mimosas.I'm 23 years old and currently studying a Master in Media & Culture at the university of Brussels, with a big love for all things pretty.
I love spring flowers, vanilla lattes and pretty decorated cupcakes from Julie's House in Ghent, the beautiful clothes from Essentiel, which are way above my student budget, Paris and Chanel, old movies with Audrey Hepburn and new movies with Audrey Tautou or Leonardo DiCaprio, tasty cocktails at Louvain Louvain, high heels and pretty dresses, fresh smoothies and the smell of my mom's home-cooked meals!

About the blog
It was hard to come up with a suitable name for the blog. I knew it would mainly about fashion and my job at Turbulence. Aside from fashion I love cocktails. I love trying something new, but when I'm on holiday in Italy I'm a sucker for Mimosas! I could drink them all they. And so... There was the name of my new blog! And it kinda has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?
I've always loved fashion. I love to try new stuff, learn about new trends and about the styles of other bloggers. It's not them I'm an expert on the fashion front. This blog is more like a diary and portfolio to me. Mainly about the internship at Turbulence, and we'll see what comes afterwards. I love to browse through magazines, blogs and fashion sites and try to put a affordable outfit together, most of the time with a twist.
